Your abstract should have a maximum of 500 words excluding authors, affiliations and title.
Abstract submissions close on Thursday 18 February 2021.
Yes, multiple abstract submissions are permitted.
Yes, you may view and edit your abstract in the Submission Portal. However, once you have submitted your abstract, you will need to contact the Conference Secretariat if you wish to make any further changes.
After completion of the online submission form, advice that your submission has been successful will appear on your edit abstract screen as "submitted". You will also receive a confirmation email. Please make sure you check your spam folder.
If you are keen to present your abstract as an oral, please select this from the drop down menu in the online portal. Please note: the Committee will decide whether your abstract will be included in the program for oral or poster presentation.
Abstract Submissions will be reviewed after the abstract submission closes on 18 February 2021. Author notifications will be sent by 18 March 2021.
Yes, all presenting authors must register by Sunday 18 April 2021 for their presentation to be included in the Conference program.
Presenting authors are allowed to withdraw their abstract by contacting program@icbic2021.org at any time until Sunday 18 April 2021.
Posters should be no larger than portrait A0 (841mmx1189mm). All posters must be produced in English.
Yes, there will be Awards. Student Members of the RACI and the NZIC are eligible for the Don Stranks Award. If you would like to be considered for the Award, please tick the box on the online submission form.

Terms and Conditions

It is a condition of acceptance of the abstract that at least the presenting author must register to attend the Conference and present the poster within the dedicated poster sessions. Final abstract acceptance requires registration and payment by the deadline of 18 April 2021. Submission of posters implies the author’s agreement to publish the poster in all Conference publications including the website.

Acceptance of abstracts does not imply any payment from the Conference Committee. Authors must arrange and pay their own accommodation, travel etc. to attend the Conference. Acceptance or otherwise is at the discretion of the Conference Program Committee whose decision is final.
